A cravat is a neckband, usually product of advantageous cloth, that’s worn with formal apparel similar to a tuxedo or tailcoat. It’s tied in a bow or knot and is usually accompanied by a jabot, a ruffled piece of material that’s worn on the neck. Cravats had been fashionable within the seventeenth and 18th centuries, and so they have seen a resurgence in reputation lately.
Cravats are usually product of silk or satin, and they are often both solid-colored or patterned. They’re usually adorned with tassels or different gildings. Cravats could be worn with quite a lot of formal outfits, and so they can add a contact of class and class to any look.
