A boutonniere is a small flower association worn on the lapel of a swimsuit jacket or tuxedo. It’s sometimes fabricated from a single flower or a small cluster of flowers, and is commonly accented with greenery or different ornamental components. Boutonnieres are a well-liked accent for weddings, proms, and different formal occasions.
The custom of carrying boutonnieres dates again to the sixteenth century, after they had been first worn by Europeanmen. Within the Victorian period, boutonnieres turned fashionable amongst all social lessons, and so they have remained a well-liked style accent ever since.
